Suanmuanlian Tonsing
Hi there! Chiba!
I belong to the Indigenous Paite Zomi tribe of the Zo ancestry from northeast of India. I am currently a PhD Candidate at the School of Information, University of Michigan-Ann Arbor, US. This webpage is where I provide updates on my research on decolonial approaches to archival and digital studies in the experience of Indigenous Asian low/high/uplanders, particularly the Zomi of northeast India. This is a space where I share insights into my academic journey, research interests, and the unique perspective I bring to the field. Join me in exploring the intersection of decolonization, archives, and digital technologies, and discover the innovative approaches I employ to contribute to this evolving academic landscape.
